I Gots New Bling In The Mail.

Sasha here. Mommy surprised me with a awesome pawsome new ID tag (or collar bling as I likes to call it). It came in a pretty little paw print bag. I was trying to figure out how to open it and not rip the bag you know.

I could so use this cute bag again for something. Not sure, what, but I knows I will use it for something. Then, there was this awesome business card attached.

Mommy was so kind to open the package since she had thumbs and all. Those humans do come in handy with those thumbs sometimes.

Hey, this tag looks a bit familiar. I thinks I have seen that face somewhere before. I just can't place it.

The back has my name and phone number in case I get lost. Like I would ever get lost. I have GPS (Global Positioning Sniffer) you know. But, it is good to have as a backup in case the sniffer goes on the frits.

You knows if I move my face downward just like the tag. I do thinks I recognize that face a bit more. Whatcha think? Does it look like me?

Mommy gots this tag at PoochTags on Etsy. Please, checks that shop out. There is lots of dog breed face key chains and other cute tags needing a new home.

Now, off to brags a little to my big brother Charlie that I gots a new tag and he didn't. It is only because you can still read all the lettering on his blue bone tag, but I will tell him it is because mommy likes me better. heehee. I loves messing with my big brother's head.

Prezzies Given And Recieved

Sasha here. You knows it is always nice to get prezzies, but it is even better to surprise the peeps you know with prezzies.

A couple of weeks ago Mommy got this cute dachshund card holder in the mail from PinotByLyn. It was such a lovely little surprise. I commandeered it right away to put our little doxie business cards in. Thank you Miss Lyn (Pinot and Lokie, too) for giving it to us.

Then, Miss Suz helped Mommy out one day in a very special way. Mommy thought she is such a great friend (I goes there for play dates with my wiener buddies) so we thought we ought to surprise her with a prezzie. Mommy knew just what to get her. She wears doxie pins on her dachshund coat and her favorite color is purple. So Mommy knew an Etsy Petsjubilee teammate Miss Sue from FrumsGlassMenagerie that could make her a special doxie pin for Miss Suz. The pin turned out similar to this one:

Miss Suz was so surprised that she called Mommy as soon as she got the prezzie to tell her how much she loved it. Thank you Miss Sue for making such a lovely prezzie for Miss Suz.

Petsjubilee Sample Box

Hi all. As promised, here is the blog all about my petsjubilee team sample box that we won from the Thanksgiving All About Food petsjubilee blog photo/video contest. Charlie and me did a video of us eating our dinner and we won. Easy contest for us chow hounds you know. But, it came just a few days before Christmas and you know mommy couldn't hide it from us after we saw it. We know what comes in that little square box. Treats and prezzies!!

Here is me peeking inside the box and staring down Charlie. Just so he knows the princess gets the best picks from the box.

Oh my! Treats, a new squeakie, bandannas, and did I mention treats.....

See Charlie this bandanna will match my pink sweater and the treats are from our favorite treat shop CiaoHound and not seeing much in heres for you though.

I think I see something long and blue for Mommy. But, you know it would look arfully cute pinned to my pink sweater Mommy.

And another pink bandanna for me. Oh, and a bookmark for my wiener dog book collection.....

At first I thought this was a treat pocket to attach to my collar, but Grandma claimed it as a mini pot holder. I won't mind if she cooks me something good you know.

At last a new squeakie all for me. Sorry, Charlie, not much in the box for you. What Mommy? I have to share? Aww, ok, but I get the first turn at the squeaky and treats. Charlie gets the first turn at the pink bandannas. heehee.

Prezzies!!

Hi all. Sasha here. Boy, has it been busy here. So many new prezzies. Santa Paws and our Etsy friends were good to all of us this year.

Firsts, I gots a new Santa bobo from Miss Diana of DianaDesignsNY and sleepy sack from Miss Alice of makingstuffwithlove. Also, Mommy got stampers from Miss Diana and new scissors from Miss Alice.

Then, Santa Paws surprised Charlie and me with new squeakies from StylinDogsBoutique shop on Etsy. You can see we really enjoyed them.

Then, mommy was going to give this calendar to Miss Suz for Christmas, but due to an error in the printing (blaming squirrels of course) Mommy got this one free and a brand new one without the error for Miss Suz. We want to thank Baxter's Mommy of kalyxcraftopia for being so generous to us this year.

Mommy gave survivor bracelets from thehubbyshop to Grandma and Grandpa this year with some other prezzies, too.

Grandma and Grandpa gave Mommy this awesome Computer for Christmas (because the Squirrels broke the printer on her old dino of a computer and of course they don't make printers now a days to work on the old dino and.....).

Well, that is the short version of all the prezzies we got this year. I left off the petsjubilee gift exchange gifts because Mommy blogged about that on that team blog page. Also, need to have Mommy take a picture of the ornament we got from Miss Suz, too. I will show you the petsjubilee box I gots, too. But, that is going to be a blog all by itself. Now times for a nap.

Dachshund Bed Making Part Two

Hi all, sorry that I didn't post yesterday the finale of the bed making experience. The evil squirrel empire attacked mommy's printer and it didn't make it. That is a long story, but for another day.
The above photo shows me just finishing getting that fitted sheet on after my nap. I then got my pillow fort and put back on the bed. You know I wanted to put them at the end of the bed, but Mommy said no. She needs to be able to reach her noisy breakfast time announcer (A.K.A. alarm clock).

Then, I wrestled on the top sheet, and of course it really is hard to do with my doxie shaped lump in the middle of the bed. I guess Mommy was right about that all these times she has made the bed by herself. heehee.

Now where did the big fluffy, heavy, comforter that takes 3 runs in the dryer go?

I founds it. Oh, and it is so warm. You knows I think this calls for another little nap.

After that nap, I finished up with this doxie bed making service with a bonus turn down the sheets service with squeakies on the pillows. I thought it looked just like what those celebrity fancy poochie posh 5 paws canine hotels do.

About this time, it was bedtime, and mommy couldn't find Charlie and me. She came down stairs to the sound of snoring and two big lumps under the new made bed. She pulled back the covers and my cloud blanky to see this.

Dachshund Bed Making Service Part One

Hi all. Mommy treated me to a day at the groomer's yesterday. Even though I didn't like the bath, the peeps there really spoil me. I gets lots of attention and a much needed pawfessional pedicure. So I decided to help her out, by making the bed. You see when me and Charlie are off at the groomer's, Mommy keeps busy by washing the bedding, blankets, and toys. She had the blankies all nice and warm for us when we got home. Straight from the dryer. Gots to love that you know.

As I was saying, I decided to make the bed. I got all the pillow cases on without getting stuck inside one this time, but thought hey these are making a nice little fort. So I hid for awhile, until mommy called me to let me know the bottom sheet was coming out of the dryer.

So I put my pillow fort away for awhile, and started to wiener wrestle this nasty sheet on the bed.

Darn Fitted Sheets!

After getting it on in the wrong direction twice, I was getting a bit tired and furstrated.

So I felt a nap was in order. To Be Continued.

Hi all. The In-door Tree Is Up!

Sasha here. We got the in-door tree up the other day. Mommy has added a couple new doxie ornaments to it this year. Yay!! She says before long, I might have to have my own tree with all my dachshund ornaments all over it. Mommy gots the elf black and tan doxie from LaughingFridge shop on Etsy. She had been wanting something from that shop for a long while and just had to have the black and tan elf ornament. I thinks I had my mind control working on that one, too. She can never resist with my mind control.

The elf ornament came the other day in the mail, and was wrapped up so pretty like a little prezzie. There was also some little word magnets as a freebie. Freebie's always make my tail wag you know.

Mommy also got a black and tan doxie in a stocking ornament from Shopko this year. It is pretty cute, too. But I think the LaughingFridge one looks a bit more like me.

I Is Cold And Mommy Is....

Sasha here. I is cold and not wanting winter to come this year. I have been spending lots of time in my blankie and snuggled with my big brother Charlie.

Mommy is working on new crafts and totally ignoring me. She is already starting on Valentine's and we haven't even had the big feast that leads to the turkey sleepies yet. Then, there is Santa Paw's visit still, too. She is rushing things way too fast for my liking.

Can you believe she is actually making non-doxie items now, too! I am not happy at all about that. I mean really doxies are the best. I think the squirrels have gotten to her mind some how. I might have to look for something to unbrainwash my mommy. Any suggestions?

Mommy Has Got Something New And Blue!

A package came in the mail today and it wasn't for me. I thought the package was for me cause it smelled like the place that I gets my squeakie bones from. I was all excited while mommy opened it, and out popped what I thought was a collar. I kept thinking mommy I wears red collars not blue. And I knows mommy wouldn't get Charlie a new collar and not me. So she took it out and I saw a problem right away with that blue collar. It was way too small for either me or Charlie. Then, mommy puts it on her wrist. OK, humans are silly why do they need a dog collar for their wrist. You knows know ones going to return them if they get lost cause they don't get lost. Well, at least, until they are really old like great grandma or really young like the human pups. But, anyways, I figures I ought to check this blue thing out a bit more.

Then, I smelled it. Super Stuffer made these. He is my super hero that stuffs my squeakie bones. I knew it smelt familiar.

Then, I gots a bit sad. Super Stuffer is not stuffing doggy toys anymore!!! No!!

Then, mommy held my paw a bit. She told me not to worry so much cause he is Super Stuffer he can make doggy toys and bracelets at the same time. I sniffed a bit and thought about it. Yep, he could. Besides, he needs a secret identity I suppose.

The Dachshund From Lowes

Grandma and Grandpa brought back this dachshund from Lowes today. I have been working my dachshund mind control super hard since I saw it on Facebook yesterday. I just had to have it to scare away the evil squirrels from our prezzies this Christmas. Well, they brought it home today and there was only one left after this one. Way to go Grandma and Grandpa!

Mommy and Grandpa put it together. It kind of scared me coming out of the box cause it was a headless doxie. I kept thinking it is not suppose to be a Hallowienie decoration. But, then, they pulled the head out from the doxie's belly. It took a lot of human team work to put it together. They ended up forgetting the instructions and doing it their way. But, this is what it looked like all lit up.

Isn't this santa doxie so cute? I knows it will square away the evil squirrels fur sure.

Then, I got next to it and realized this doxie is a big one. Must be a standard size. I hear they is bigger than little old me.

I decided to give it a kiss on the nose and whisper my Christmas wish into its ear. You never know. This Santa Paws doxie might have a direct bark line to the North Pole.

After that, I noticed mommy taken pictures and decided it was best to keep my wish list short for now. You know us good little dachshunds are always ready for a photo session with Mommy.

Miss Alice from makingstuffwithlove gave mommy some prezzies in the mail yesterday. Mommy was so excited. She just loves them all because they look just like me. Cause I am extra long and cute just like these wienies.

The first and most fave of all the prezzies is the pillow case that Miss Alice made herself. Click on the picture below to get a link to one that is similar in her etsy shop. Mommy loves how the doxie wraps around the pillow to the other side and it has a cute collar, too. It even has a heart shaped tag just like mine. The doggy print fabric is just pawfect to put a doxie on cause I see doxies on the fabric, too. She even sent mommy a magic card to get the pillow to go inside the case. Not sure how that works. But, I thinks mommy gets to go to Hobby Lobby without me again. I wished they let dogs go there.

Then, in the package, there was this cute keychain from the UK. She got it from the artbyeliza shop on etsy. This photo is a link to one in her shop, too. Mommy of course had to attach my bye-bye car ride keys to it. We know whose car it really is now. heehee.

Lastly, there was this awesome coin purse that mommy just loved from persnicketypelican on etsy. I told her she could use it to store my bobo and treat funds. But, she ignored me. This photo is also a link to a similar one in their shop.

Miss Alice, I wants to thank you for all you gave my mommy. My mommy already thanks you. You are a very sweet and kind human. We don't know what it would be like if we never met you on the petsjubilee team. Doxie kisses to you. Off to see if I can get the pillow to sleep with tonight.

We have conquered the nasty buzzing creatures' secret lair. While Charlie and I were inside guarding great grandma, Grandpa got stung a couple times while spraying their secret lair. However, by looks of the buzzing creatures' body count below the secret lair, we did much more damage to them. So to the squirrels out there, we have foiled yet another dastardly plot. I can poo in peace now, but I still have my nose and eyes to the sky. You never know what those squirrels may plan next.

Under Attack!

The evil squirrel empire has enlisted a new high tech weapon. They have entered into aerial attacks using bug warfare now, and my poo is under attack. I go to poo on the potty path and these stinging black bugs buzz at me to get at my poo. Mommy, Grandma, and Grandpa have discovered their secret lair in the maple tree. So me thinks their days are numbered. But, really, what will these evil squirrels come up with next!

By the size of the secret lair, I suspect this bug warfare technology is what the squirrels have been working on all summer. Perhaps, this is exactly why they booby trapped the backdoor so I wouldn't discover their evil plot sooner.

But, Mommy keeps laughing and telling me the squirrels had nothing to do with this one. It is just a fact of nature that hornets build nests in trees. But, I thinks not!

Hi all.

My paw is all healed up now, and I can type better and all now. My nail still hasn't grown back, but I don't mind. One less nail to get trimmed with the metal nail biter thing. I haven't gotten on recently because Mommy is always on here. Really, I wait so patiently in my computer chair for a turn, and next thing you know I am asleep and she is still on it. Humans they need to learn how to share the computer. Well, I will do my best at popping on and off here when I can cause I have really missed blogging. Doxie kisses to you all and eat lots of BBQ today. Labor day I think is like a national grilling day or something. I best go supervise the BBQ preparations. Sasha.

I Have Been Wounded!

Last night it happened. I blame the squirrels you know! They must have had some kind of booby trap on the back door. I was just zooming in from going potty outside and the bottom of the door where it slides open reached up and grabbed me. My toe hurt so bad. I yelped and was bleeding and mommy was like oh no what did you do. She looked at it and my nail came off and was hanging by some skin. I was bleeding and yelping when she put pressure on it so she rushed me to the emergency vet around 11 pm last night. They cut the hanging part off, and then trimmed all my nails so short that mommy has never seen them ever this short. Mommy uses the safety cutters and had just trimmed them, but seriously I do think squirrels are to blame. I have been through that door thousands of times and not one owie. My brother Charlie wanted to go with me, but I made him stay behind and be on the alert for Squirrel attacks on the house. I know they were trying to get me away for some reason, but I just don't know what it is. Now, being layed up, my poor old brother has to do the squirrel patrols without me.

Well, I have to take these weird kibbles that the vet gave my mom. She shoves them down my throat, and I tells her I will take them fine just put them in some steak and cheese. But, she still does it her way. I get cheese or bread or a little peanut butter afterwards, and today. Mommy gave me a bite of tuna sandwich. I think I can get use to this special treatment. But, I still do wonder what the squirrels are up to now.

We got new squeakies!

Mommy won a game that Miss Diana (from StylinDogsBoutique) did on the Petsjubilee Blog. So we picked a couple small squeakies as our prize and they came today. We played with them down in the basement cause it was way too hot to play upstairs. Mommy got a birthday prezzie from Miss Diana, too. A cute little red doxie sculpture. We were tagged again on another blog. So it is our turn to blog tag someone else. This time it is Miss Alice of makingstuffwithlove. She is such a sweet human. She gave mommy some supplies to help her with her paper cutting that she has been doing lately.

How to punish your human for the B-word.

OK. Most folks know my human has a nasty habit of giving me the B-word (bath). I got one today and I didn't really need it. She said it was because I was going to the vet tomorrow for my shots. Really, vets have smelled dogs before and I am sure my aroma wasn't near as pungent as others. But, anyways, I think it was time to teach her a lesson since the shaking and completely soaking her and the bathroom with wet dog hair wasn't working. This is what I did and please, dogs out there feel free to use this technique to keep these humans from bathing us for no decent reason.

1.) After the bath, turn your back on the human that gave it to you.

2.) Give the human a brief glance and then turn your head and shut your eyes. As if to say, "Nope, still mad at you. I can't even look at you right now."

3.) After a period of time, turn to face them, but don't look them in the eye. This really lays on the guilt. Trust me on this one.

4.) After another wee bit of time, roll around on the carpet having the time of your life. It serves multiple purposes. One, it gets that arful doggy shampoo smell off. Plus, it helps get some of the remaining water, and it shows the human you can have a good time without her.

5.) When the human makes an attempt to join in on play, freeze. And don't play with her even if she sneaks in with a foot rub.

At this point the human usually takes a time out in another room, that is when you come in for her emotional weak spot.

6.) I forgives you now. Can I have some cheese, please!

Blog Tag- Patty!

Sasha here. Hi. Mommy and me were tagged on someone else's blog in a new game we are playing. So I thinks we are suppose to tag someone else and pawmote them. I hopes I is doing it right. Mommy said I could pick the person so I picked Miss Patty. She has some of the cutest doxie stuff ever in her DogBarks shop on etsy.

She made this cute pillow cover from one of mommy's ideas (but we all know the idea really came from me). Us doxies really don't like the rain or the flashy loud monsters in the sky. This pillow cover is pawfict for any doxie home.

Then, she makes these cute pj pants that are walking the dog style. These are our faves, too. Because, us doxies sure do like to go for walks and bye-bye trips. We don't even care if our humans are in their pjs or not. (Oh, and if she doesn't have any in your size she can custom make some.) Mommy sent her some old jeans and she doxiefied them for her. They were so cute and she wears them all the time.

This little art is something else she makes. She got Mommy started on drawing dachshunds and taught her a few things. (I am not sure how I feels about that. My photography modeling career has gone down hill since then, but that is a whole other story.) Her art is so cute and I love all the doxies in them. If only, mommy would let her do all the art....

I lost my train of thought for a moment. Sorry. These are the other doxie things she makes. These ones are the miniatures, but she does make bigger stuffed small pillow sized ones. Mommy likes these small ones cause they are awesome to hang from a rear view mirror in the car.

Miss Patty is a awesome pawsome human that pawmotes us all on twitter so much. She is a very sweet and spiritual human. She only has one down fall. She is kind of a cat person. Shhh! Don't tell the other doxies out there. Also, she has rodents as pets. (Not squirrels though- thank goodness.) I have been working my doxie mind control on her so maybe she will convert to doxieisum eventually. Oh, and for the cat peeps out there she has cat shops ( catcalls and MewMart) on etsy, too.

Hi all. It has been busy around here. Grandma went to the human vets to have surgery on her shoulder and now is healing up from that. No cone for her, but she does have to wear this thing on her arm. Kind of like a portable pillow.

Mommy has been learning a new craft of paper cutting and collage. She is making all sorts of new items in our shop, but not much with my cute little doxie face on it. Which of I let her know, is not alright with me. The above card is her latest. She isn't sure if she likes it or not. What do you all think sell or give away?

Oh, and the best thing was today their was a marmot in my yard. Charlie and I chased him under the shed. We had him cornered, too. Both of us on both sides. I was starting to dig to get him, but mean mommy toted me inside. Doesn't she know they are cousins to the evil squirrels. No fit doxie would permit such a critter to take up residence in his/her backyard ever. Well, I whimpered and whined forever, but Mommy wouldn't let me back out until he escaped. Humans!

Mommy is working on a new style of cards. She has been cutting paper with scissors and these sharp little knives. Then, drawing the cute little wiener dogs on after she is done cutting. I is thinking the days of Sasha photo cards are almost over. Am I being replaced?

Hi all. Spring has arrived and Mommy has lots of things smelling so good that I have been stopping to sniff the flowers. Oh, and soon we will be growing our own food, too. Mommy has corn, peppers, cucumbers, strawberries, and tomatoes in these grow boxes. I am so hoping they work cause it means more food for me to beg for. heehee. But, I do see a feathered friend looking a little too pleased with my garden. Off to go chase it away. Woof woof bark bark.

My Play Date At Miss Suz's House

Hi all. I knows I have been away too long again. But, really it has been snowing and icky out so I just want to hide under my blanky until the good weather gets here.

Yesterday, we had some good weather briefly. So we went to Miss Suz house for a play date. It was fun sort of. I gots to meet a new wiener boy names Froto. He kind of looked like me, but his ears had spots and there were strange spots else where, too. Hard to see in the photos, though. Boy, was he was a very busy guy. He kept playing the silly human game of fetch. Over and over and over without once trying to run off with the toy and not let the humans throw it. Not sure he understood the idea was to get the humans up and chasing us not just sit there. How, are they ever suppose to get exercise that way.

We also stopped to have a cheese break at one point. I love that when I come to Miss Suz's she remembers us wienies love treats and the good ones, too. Not just kibble you know.

The parts I didn't like was when they got the hose out. That kind of freaked me out. I don't like water and once when I went to their house they put me in a pool. Wiener dogs don't float people! But, anyways, the hose wasn't for me thank goodness. Then, they started a fire outside. I have never been near a camp fire before. It freaked me out. Smell of burning wood and the sizzle and popping sound. I smelled that in my house in the wood stove, but it wasn't at all like it was there. So Mommy held me and then when they went to put it out with the hose thing, there was this big puff of smoke and it went right for us. No likey that at all. I was grabbing onto Mommy's neck with both paws as tight as I could. Then, after the smoke cleared, I smelted the smell of a storm coming and the sun was going behind the clouds. I was getting cold and I is smart enough to head inside when it is about to rain. But, the silly humans kept talking. You knows how come they don't smell the storm coming like us. I whined and told mommy the storm was coming. But, she kept talking. Finally, just before the storm hit, we went home. I think those humans just play it too close on the timing. We could have been soaking wet if we were out there just a minute longer. Oh, well, I came home and slept under my blanky most of the evening.

I Got My B-day Prezzie!

Hi all. I is officially 4 years old now by both my vet's records and my breeder's records. heehee. Long story on the two dates thing and I am pretty sure squirrels were involved somehow, but you know I am not minding celebrating my birthday twice. heehee.

Well, on to what I got for a prezzie. Miss Diana from StylinDogsBoutique made me this jumbo hubby stuffed bone stuffed by Super Stuffer himself. Mommy won it in a giveaway.

It has double squeakers, too!!

Then, Mommy knew Charlie would be left out so she got him a small hubby stuffed bone in camo color, too. We don't knows his b-day cause he was a rescue. But, we celebrate his gotcha or adoption day in November.

Then, I saws that his looked like fun cause it was smaller than mine and mommy kept throwing it. I gots bone envy bad.

Then, well, you know us wiener dogs on our birthdays. We gets anything we wants. Or at least temporarily.

It came! My B-day Treats Came!

Mommy came in from the mail with a very familiar square box. It was my treats from CiaoHound on etsy. I loves these handmade treats so much. They are way better than milkbones and the rest of those store bought treats.

I got lots of treats and a Birthday cake. I has to share with Charlie, but I is OK with that as long as I get some. I will get my B-day cake on Saturday and another familiar shaped package prezzie, too. I thinks I know what it is, but I won't tell Mommy. She likes these things to be a surprize.

You see, today is the day my vet says is my b-day. But, my breeder says my b-day is April 16. I believes the breeder cause they was there when I was born. But, Mommy still does something special on the 14th for mes. I knows I am so loved by my mommy.

Thank you Miss Shari for making me these treats. I will have a yappy fourth b-day because of you. Now off to beg at the fridge until dinner time. :)

First of all, I am mad at mommy for making them give me the b-word. Seriously, I have avoided it this long what was a bit longer right. Nope, Mommy made them give me one and poor Charlie got the works. He wasn't happy with them at all.

I got a bath, brushing, pedicure, teeth brushing, and ears cleaned. Charlie got a bath, shave, pedicure, teeth brushing, ears cleaned, and the dreaded Butt Squeeze! He was so mad at them for messing with his butt. I heard lots of grumpy old man snarling and cussing from my station.

I was very good girl, and they told mommy that I was, too. But, no treats when we I got home, and our toys were still drying. Can you believe Mommy gave our toys a bath while we were gone and our blankets? You know sometimes I think these humans just go a bit nuts with the cleaning sometimes.

Mommy says we might get something called pumpkin to help Charlie not to have to get butt squeezed, but not sure what that is about. I hope it is something yummy.

Well, off to nap under the fresh out of the dryer blankies. Bark at you all later.

Well, I wons and now I am famous in another shop on etsy. Well, sort of famous at least. I am on a mirror and that is pretty special.

Mommy got the mirror in the mail today as my prize for winning. Mommy thinks it is for her, but I already claimed it with my nose prints. heehee. A cute doxie like me needs to make sure my fur stays beautiful you knows.

Sasha here. Happy Yappy Wiggle Butt Dancing For SPRING!! Look what is springing up in our yard now.

Then, after my wiggle butt dancing for being coat free was done. I noticed some pretty big bugs in the yard this year. If the bugs are this big, I wonder if the birds are going to be bigger than me this year?

Sasha here. Mommy was all set to give Charlie and me a b-word (bath)today. But, I used my mind control to have Grandpa lose his magic plastic card that somehow gives you money and you can buy stuff with it. You see he really didn't lose it, but I made him think he did. He looked all through his wallet, and grandma looked through his wallet. All the humans were going crazy through the house looking for it. Then, a hour later almost dark, mommy had to look in Grandpa's wallet. Grandpa got mads at her and said we already looked there. But, she kept looking. She found it behind his driver's license. Apparently, my mind control doesn't work as well on Mommy. But, anyways, the humans were all so happy that they found the magic card that they totally forgot about the b-word for me and Charlie. Mommy just looked at me and said tomorrow. (But, we will see won't we.) heehee

I has enough ignoring the wienie dog for coloring. I is special and I demands a photo shoot. So pay attention to me Mommy!

I had to get my doxie mind control working big time today. Mommy just won't stop coloring cartoon doxies. So I had to convince her that she needs to start taking pictures of me again.

I started with my lovely meerkat pose. But, got nothing from Mommy other than asked if I needed to go potty. Really, does this look like I need to go potty dance to you?

Then, I did my head tilt doxie look with the killer eyes. This would get any normal person to get the camera right? Mommy, told me to go lay down it wasn't dinner time.

So I got the giant squeaky ball and sat there with it in my mouth for a very long time looking at her and the camera and her and the camera. Really, this is just too cute to pass up a photo of right? It worked. She got the camera. Photo session has begun. Yip Yap Furray!

I gave her the talk to the paw pose cause she really likes that one. Plus, I get a tummy rub out of it.

Then, I saved the best pose for last right before the camera battery went dead. Really, Mommy you need to charge that thing once in awhile!

Sasha here. We gots 12 inches of snow the other day. Where is this early spring the ground hog predicted? Seriously, 12 inches is too much for one short to the ground such as I. Plus, it is almost Spring. We aren't suppose to get this kind of snow this time of year. Yuck and double yuck!

This little cutie arrived in the mail yesterday for Mommy from Miss Patty from DogBarks on Etsy. Mommy won the Wednesday giveaway game on the petsjubilee blog so this was the prize that Miss Patty sent her. It was like a tiny version of me minus the eye dots. heehee. Mommy loved it a lot.

She attached a heart shaped tag that had a picture of me on it. I do believe that was created by my Mommy. Wow, I sure do travel everywhere now. heehee.

This new addition to our wiener dog family arrived by way of Miss Suz. She gave it to my Mom for Valentine's Day. It was the one my mom really liked at Hobby Lobby. It looks so much like me I decided to give it a kiss on its nose. Miss Suz tricked Grandma because she had it wrapped up in a towel like it was a real puppy. She said stuff like this is a new foster doxie puppy. Grandma says no more doxie siblings for us cause I was such a trouble maker as a pup so she was a bit worried. Then, mommy unwrapped it and it was a fake dog. I gots a good laugh on that one. BOL!

We were trying to figure out a name for it, and I was looking to see if it was a boy or a girl in this picture. I am guessing it is a girl cause there is no boy parts hanging down.

Sasha here. It has been a busy holiday season. Friends and family came to visit, and oh so many treats to eat. I loved it all. But, the new year has already started and I am so far behind on my Taking Over The World goal from last year. I have gotten a wee bit further we me on Twitter now, but really it is not the whole world. The world is a big place. I am thinking I might have to down grade my goal to taking over my house or neighborhood first, but not sure.

Santa Paws Came!

Hi all. Sasha here. I have been so happy the last few days. Santa Paws came with my favorite treats from ciaohound and a petsjubilee team box. I loves it all. I had to share with Maddie cause she is visiting again for the holidays, but she is so little she doesn't eat much.

Mommy got a stuffed wiener from Miss Patty from DogBarks on etsy, too. It was so cute. She added to the other new arrivals of Pinky and My Twin that we gots from the human pups my Mommy watches. She also got the petsjubilee team shirt. It looks so good. I wonder if they make one for puppers.

Then, Grandma and Grandpa gave mommy one of those nookbook things so you knows we are going to be keeping up on our reading. It has got paw touch technology so all you have to do is touch the screen and the pages turn. Much easier than trying to turn pages without thumbs. Mommy and me have been snuggling and reading together a lot.

The mail man came to the door yesterday to drop on prezzies for mommy. You know Mommy was like what has her team mates done now. She just has been so surprised by all of you this Christmas. So she opened the prezzies.

The first prezzie was from Miss Lyn, Pinot's Mommy, from lynliao3 on the dachshund team. It was a lovely bone bag that she made herself with a purple lining inside. Mommy thinks she will use it for the post office money, but I is thinking I may nabs it for my on the go treat bag.

The second prezzie was from Miss Alice from makingstuffwithlove on the Petsjubilee team. It was a lovely scrapbook for you know whos pictures. heehee. Then, there was a super cute doxie wallet that she made herself.

Hi all. I was so excited that I got prezzies in the mail today from Miss Lori from DoodyPops and "Grandma" Pauline from paulinesfashions.

I went right for the treats first. You knows me. Little miss food hound is I. Miss Lori sent me some poo treats. Mommy took forever to open them cause she kept making me think I was going to have to wait till Christmas to eat them. I can't wait that long. I used my most pathetic face and Mommy let us open it early. I had to share with Charlie which I didn't like cause they were so gooooood!!

Then, after mommy cut us off of the poo treats, I went to my prezzie from "Grandma" Pauline. I knew it wasn't food cause I smelt it.

So mommy opened it up and there was so many neat things in there. I gots a new dress/vest for Christmas. I wonder if my wiener man will love me in this pretty Christmas outfit.

Then, there was all these bandannas. Charlie I think likes the purple one best that says I love my mommy.

Sasha here. I is still not happy. The snow keeps falling and it is cold and I want to smell the grass again. Mommy found my coat and you can see how happy I am about that. NOT!! Coats mean having to go outside even longer in the snow.

So we went outside and the white stuff was everywhere. On the tree, on the hedge, on mommy's bye bye car, and yes even on my paws.

Then, I came back in and pouted in my computer chair and I is not barking to Mean Mommy at all.

Hello all.

I gots new toys in the mail from Miss Diana and The G's. Well, I truthfully, I do have to share one with my big brother Charlie so technically I only got one new toy. But, I will take his when he's not looking. heehee.

Mommy brought in a package from the mail box and I knew right away it was for me. I can smell the G's on it. Plus, all packages are mine right? I just lets the humans have the ones that don't contain toys or treats. heehee.

Well, Mommy was taken forever to open my package. So I sat there in the beg position. You know up right like those meerkats do. I kept looking at Mommy and my package and back at Mommy. So finally, the doxie mind control kicked in and she put down the non-doggy mail.

She opened it, and it was two Christmas double layered fleece squeaky bone toys from stylindogsboutique. I was so happy. Mommy made the mistake of giving the bigger one to Charlie first. I gave him the whose the boss look and he wouldn't take it. So Mommy gave it to me. Then, she gave Charlie the smaller one. I pranced off if my new toy and played. Charlie had Mommy throw his a few times. We had a blast. Thank you Miss Diana and the G's for making my doggy day!

The Peeps Are Gone I Can Zoomie again!!

Hi all. Sasha, the wiener dog here.

Boy, it has been so interesting the last few days. First, my brother eats half a bar of soap. He still won't tell me why he did that. Grandma caught me taking the bar away from him and she thought I had eaten it. But, the evidence was puked up later that even by mister Innocent Charlie who would never do anything like that. Mommy was so proud that I hadn't eaten any.

Then, all these peeps showed up for great grandma's 91st b-day. There was 5 generations of peeps from big ones all the way down to the littlest new human pup.

Charlie and I got pinned up a lot. We didn't like that at all especially with all the eating going on. Then, there was a very cute human pup that so kindly like to share what he was eating by regurgitating it for us dogs. But, Mommy wouldn't let me go lick him up. Silly, Mommy.

Then, there was lots of pics and no one took any of me. Then, we slept on the couch with Mommy. She wouldn't even let us wiggle or get down and sleep with anyone else.

Now, the peeps are gone and I gots to zoomie all over the living room while Mommy brought all my toys out from her hiding spot. It is sure fun when peeps come to visit, but is it wrong to miss your toys and bed a little?

Hi all. We have been so busy around here I haven't had much time to bark on my blog. Mommy is getting ready for Great Grandma's 91st b-day, the leaves have been pooing all over the yard. and lots of getting ready for winter going on.

We have gotten a few prezzies and packages through the mail. So Mommy and me says Franks A Lot to Miss Tammy, Miss Patty, and Miss Alice! We do love them. Hello all. I had a great time at the Petco costume contest and you can read all about my adventures on the Petsjubilee Team Blog Post.

The long awaited favorite candy poll is complete and the winner is Peanut butter cups. 12 people voted for them with 28% of the voting group. So mommy went out and bought some for the trick or treaters because we figure that 2 to 3 out of every ten kids would like peanut butter cups.

Sasha here. My big brother Charlie has been so itchy lately that he started to chew on himself. So the humans decided to take him and ME to the groomers for a BATH! I kept telling Mommy no not me just Charlie . But, she didn't listen. Not only did I gets a bath, but my toys and blankies got a bath while we were gone. We got back and no toys, no blankies, and no going outside to roll in the grass. Mommy felt so bad for our sad little faces that she showed us what she bought while we were out. She said that they should hold us until our toys and blankies were dry. Charlie got a new hot dog squeakie and I gots a fleecy people shaped squeakie. We squeaked for a bit, and then I missed my old toys. I had to wait furever to get them back. Then, I was so mad that it took so long and all the toys smelt funny now that I decided to play with my new one instead.

My Chihuahua cousin Maddie has been here for over a week now. This is just not right. A doxie girl can only take so much dog thinking she is a cat kind of stuff. She is getting so pampered. Mommy hand feeds her kibble on the couch. She gets some of our treats and of course she licks her self like a CAT!! That is so gross and undognified. She even came outside with us, but do you think she left the porch. Nope. Not once. Not even during the zoomies. Really, it just isn't right.

Sasha here. I keeps hearing all these things about how the humans are really stressed with too much work, not enough work, not enough money, and family issues. I thinks the humans should do what we wienies do when life gets a bit too crazy. We watch a little NATURE and for some reason things just waddle into "furspective".

Now, humans take a deep breath in and out. Then, repeat after me: "I am but one little creature in an unimaginable universe full of wonder."

The Sweet Kibbles Have Arrived!

Sasha here. It is getting close to that time of year where Mommy gives out the sweet kibbles to the funny looking human pups that come to the door. I have discovered her secret stash of sweet kibbles. Now, if only I can unlock the doxie proof security force field, they would so be MINE! (Evil mad scientist doxie laughing going on.)

By the way, I am trying to do a poll on here to see what kind and flavor is all you humans favorite sweet kibbles (AKA candy). Since I am not allowed to have any (especially chocolate), I have to just take your word for it they are good.

Sneak Peek: Mommy's New Creations!

Hi all. I don't usually yap about mommy's crafting much unless it involves me getting ignored all day. Which happens a lot! I am a cute little wiener dog and I deserve constant attention and play time. Unless, I am napping of course.

Well, I do believe my Mommy has created a few awesome pawsome items this time. I may have to steal one of the little ones for me when I go on walks. A wiener dog needs to accessorize sometimes you know. The little ones would so be perfect for holding the poo bags (even though I would so not poo on my walk too busy socializing), my treats, and the cell phone for emergencies (like if we run out of treats).

Well, what do you all think? Does Mommy have a wiener here to put in our ETSY shop? Or do I gets to keep them for my very own? heehee.

I am a pouting wiener dog right now. My humans had BBQ ribs and didn't share. You know an upset tummy is so worth BBQ pork ribs. All I managed to sneak was a few potato chip crumbs and a gummy candy from a human pup. Then, I gots the gummy stuck in the black part of my mouth near the back teeth. I couldn't get it out so Mommy fished it out and threw it away. Nothing like having your dessert contaminated by human fingers and then tossed out with the trash. :(

New Collar Bling Today

Sasha here. I got new bling for my collar today in the mail. It was an expensive little bling that I didn't even get to pick the color or shape or anything. 20 dollars a year for a little star that says I am an official pet. Silly humans, I don't need no tag to tell my that. However, I guess it does tell other humans how much my mommy loves me so I guess 20 dollars is worth that.

Oh no!! Looks like all my friends may need some doxie media schoolin. heehee. Well, here is a few just for reference in case you come across a doxie trivia game show in the future.

1-3.) Toy Story 1-3 ( slinky dog in one and slinky and the house dog was a dachshund in the other two)

4.) The Ugly Dachshund (One of the best dachshund films of all times. I is so hoping they make a remake of that one with a modern twist.)

5.) Beverly Hills Chihuahua (dachshund on tread mill when chihuahua goes to groomers)

6.) Hitch (one of the ones he fixes up at the very beginning was when the dachshund escapes from the elevator and chases the female dachshund bait he was using to introduce the guy to the girl)

7-8.) Open Season 1 and 2. Mr. wienie in number two is so awesome.

9.) Bolt. (One of the first dogs he meets on the street was a black and tan dachshund. Who offers him to sniff his butt.)

10-11. ) All Dogs Go To Heaven 1 and 2 (Even though the animator sure didn't have a clue on how to draw wienie dogs, Itchy was a dachshund. I still think he looks more like a basset though.)

12.) Wiener Takes All -A Dogumentary (I so want to see this movie!!)

13.) National Lampoon's European Vacation ( The unbarkable happens when the boys hat gets tossed of the Eiffel Tower - an Innocent doxie jumps after it. Not one of my favorites and we do believe a squirrel was behind it.)

14.) The Truman Show- A wienie is being walked in the center of town a few times during the movie.

15.) A Dog Named Christmas from Hallmark Hall Of Fame- A red wienie has puppies in the boys barn. A cougar tries to attack, but Christmas saves the wienies. A great film!!

I am sure there are more, but that is just a few off the top of my furry little head for you. We won't mention dachshunds on TV and in commercials that could take a year to list all those. heehee.

Dachshund Book Review: Hairy Pawter/ Harry Potter?

Harry Potter and the Sorcerer's Stone Book 1:

Sasha here. Time for another dachshund book review. I decided to read the Harry Potter series with my Mommy. She had read the series before, and figured I was now old enough to read it with her. So we started reading the series together. The first book is what I will bark about today.

First of all, I think his name should have been Hairy Pawter especially if they ever do a dachshund version.

I liked the book. The idea of an orphan discovering he has magic and then is like a major super star among the magical people has got to be pretty cool. I like how there is a good and evil force in the book and how sometimes he just didn't know who he could trust or not trust. The whole idea that sometimes doing the right thing can lead you into trouble. Like me barking at the evil squirrels, but that is getting off the point again.

The book also reminds me of traditional Greek mythology where the hero who is a very ordinary human with major flaws has to battle so many unearthly challenges to somehow gain a prize for the greater good. Dumbledore is defiantly a god like figure that leads Harry to choose the right path through all his challenges. The other teachers to play a similar role just like the ancient Greek gods and goddesses with their unique powers or gifts.

Then, there was Harry's friends, Ron and Hermione. I believe this is where the plot deviates from the traditional Greek hero like stories. For Harry, he doesn't face everything alone. Even though he feels lonely throughout the book and in the end he does battle the evil one by himself, I feel his friendship is what makes the story pop. To have true friends that will die and suffer for you if need be really is pretty darn cool for a human pup of only 11 years of age.

In the end, the question throughout the book was which character was the force of evil and when faced with that evil what will Harry do? Well, you will have to read the book to find that out.

Mommy Gave Me Rabbit Pellets For Kibble!

I looked at my bowl with these little tiny kibbles and then looked at Mommy like you expect to fill me up with these little rabbit pellets! Do I look like a rabbit! I need real food here! The good stuff that you can sink your teeth into to. Mommy went on about how the store was out of my brand of kibble and I will just have to make do with this kind. Meanwhile, Charlie managed to sneak in and get half my bowl. So I ate what was left rather quickly, then looked pathetically at mommy. It didn't work. I think I may starve to death on this new pellet diet. :(

My bobo costume came in the mail today from DianaDesignsNY . I was so happy cause I smelled Miss Diana's dogs on the package. I even had to stick my head in the package to get a good wiff. I saw my own stickers on the bag, too so you know it was very cute packaging. Then, mommy put my costume on and even though it was a bit warm for this heat wave, I did look oh so cute in it. So I knew I had to share pics and video of me trying to get to that bobo head squeaker. Now, you all know who better when first price in the Hallowiener day contests this year.

Hi all. Sasha your furry friend is back. The squirrels tried to sabotage my Internet time and we have been off-line for a bit due to a sick computer. You know those squirrels are so to blame for this.

But, anyways, I have been busy. I figured out what mommy was doing with that measuring snaky thing, and I am a bit excited now. I am getting a custom made BoBo Hallowiener Day costume from DianaDesignsNY shop on etsy. No more being laughed at in a stinky pumpkin costume for me. I am going to get a really cool costume that all the doggies are going to be jealous of and mommy says the hat even squeaks. I don't care for hats really or clothes much for that matter, but I might have to make an exception for a costume of my favorite toy ever. Plus, I am wondering if I can get to that squeaker in the hat after Hallowiener Day?

Sasha here. A quick blog before bed. You knows how we put out all the good table scrapes and leftovers for the big green monster to come and eat once a week. Well, you see Charlie and me had been piling up the poo as a special treat for it. Mommy put the bag in it after collecting our donations. Today, the monster ate all the leftovers and other treats, but left the bag of poo at the bottom of the trash can. Mommy said that it smelled horrible and probably will smell even worse by next week with double poo rations. I so do not like getting snubbed by the big green monster cause I really don't want to be next on its menu.

Alien Crop Circles In My Backyard!!!

Sasha, here (panting). I beat mommy to the computer . Woohoo! I went out for my morning potty time just like usual, and as I was sniffing around for a spot, I found this strange formation in my grass. I sniffed and smelled nothing, but this can't be a normal phenomenon. You see I have heard of crop circles being caused by aliens so could this be little grass circles? But, it isn't a circle now is it. Mommy thinks it was Charlie doing a little creative peeing, but I knows my big brother and he's not a pee artist. I thinks it must be the work of little tiny aliens showing us wiener dogs a little love. What do yous thinks?
