Since school is going to be starting soon, I , Sasha -the wiener dog, thought I should offer a Pup Quiz today. Lets see how smart all my friends and friends in fur are out there. How many movies can you name with a dachshund in them? You can count sequels as separate movies.
Here is the scoring: 1-3 movies New Wiener On The Block, 4-6 Doxie Pup Star, 7-9 Hot Dog With His/Her Own Set Of Buns, 10 and up Wiener Dog Addict (You might want to start a 12 paw step program.)

I cheated and asked google! I was amazed to read that mickey mouse had a dachshund in the early days - you really do get everywhere!
I am ashamed to say I am a new kid on the block...The only weiner dog I can think of off the top of my head is the slinky weiner dog in "Toy Story" and I don't know if he even counts!?! I am sure once I hear all the others I'll think, I should have known that!! ;-)

I guess I'm terrible at this. I can only think of the Ugly Dachshund - which I absolutely LOVED, thank you for recommending it, Athena. My memory just isn't what it use to be.

I am very sorry but I have not seen one movie with a Doxie in it. In fact, since I watch about one movie per year, it may be another 100 years before I ever see one Doxie!
