I Mets A New Doxie Friend Yesterday.

Hi all. Sasha is here.  Yesterday was an exciting day.  Mr. Bandit came over to visit for the first time.  He is the new rescued boy Miss Suz gots.  You knows my play date buddies Zuke, Frito, and Peewee.  Well, they have a new brother.  He came over to my house with his mommy for us to play.

Well, after the initial sniffs, meet and greets.  I tried to get him zooming.  But apparently, he was more interested in exploring my turf and of course peeing on all Charlie's favorite spots.

We took a break for some kibbles and you can see I sit very pretty for my turn for the yummies.

But, then, a doxie can only wait so long you know.

I think he kind of looks like me.  Except, he has white/grayish speckles mixed in his smoothie fur.

I hopes next time maybe Bandit will play a bit more when he comes over.  I likes to zoomie with my fellow doxies you know.

My Play Date At Miss Suz's House

Hi all. I knows I have been away too long again. But, really it has been snowing and icky out so I just want to hide under my blanky until the good weather gets here.

Yesterday, we had some good weather briefly. So we went to Miss Suz house for a play date. It was fun sort of. I gots to meet a new wiener boy names Froto. He kind of looked like me, but his ears had spots and there were strange spots else where, too. Hard to see in the photos, though. Boy, was he was a very busy guy. He kept playing the silly human game of fetch. Over and over and over without once trying to run off with the toy and not let the humans throw it. Not sure he understood the idea was to get the humans up and chasing us not just sit there. How, are they ever suppose to get exercise that way.

We also stopped to have a cheese break at one point. I love that when I come to Miss Suz's she remembers us wienies love treats and the good ones, too. Not just kibble you know.

The parts I didn't like was when they got the hose out. That kind of freaked me out. I don't like water and once when I went to their house they put me in a pool. Wiener dogs don't float people! But, anyways, the hose wasn't for me thank goodness. Then, they started a fire outside. I have never been near a camp fire before. It freaked me out. Smell of burning wood and the sizzle and popping sound. I smelled that in my house in the wood stove, but it wasn't at all like it was there. So Mommy held me and then when they went to put it out with the hose thing, there was this big puff of smoke and it went right for us. No likey that at all. I was grabbing onto Mommy's neck with both paws as tight as I could. Then, after the smoke cleared, I smelted the smell of a storm coming and the sun was going behind the clouds. I was getting cold and I is smart enough to head inside when it is about to rain. But, the silly humans kept talking. You knows how come they don't smell the storm coming like us. I whined and told mommy the storm was coming. But, she kept talking. Finally, just before the storm hit, we went home. I think those humans just play it too close on the timing. We could have been soaking wet if we were out there just a minute longer. Oh, well, I came home and slept under my blanky most of the evening.

"What Sharp Teeth You Have Puppy!"

Sasha here.
Mommy was puppy sitting human pups and their new puppy. I don't thinks I like big puppy slumber parties. Those teeth hurt and her paws were huge. Oh, and forgets about sleeping. I hads to keep from being rolled and pounced on.
Today, I had a wiener play date at my wiener friends house and it was much better there. Best to play with dogs your own size and who respect you for the princess that you are.

My Play Date With A Rock Star!

Sasha, the cute furry one, here. Yes, I got a play date today and afterwards I found out that Miss Pee Wee who doesn't care for me too much is actually a Rock Star now. Can you believe it! Little old me zooming around the house, pottying in the back yard, barking at German Sheppards, and dozing in the big picture window at a Rock Star Wiener Dog's house! Oh, I am so moving on up in this world now. I wonder if the Pupperotzi will be hounding me for photos? I wonder if we will make the cover of Dachshund Digest? I wonder if Pee Wee will bite-o-graph a CD for me? Oh, dachshund happy tail butt wiggle dancing going on now.

Please, watch this great music video starring my wiener friend Pee Wee and a few other wiener dogs I don't know at this link MY WENA. Pee Wee is the alligator at the end. You will recognize her from my Halloween contest pics I shared with you.

Play date and more fun in the sun!

Hi all.

Sasha here. Today was the bestest day ever. First, I got to go on a play date to the redwagonwieners house. Frito and Zuke and I patrolled their back yard to the best of our wiener abilities. Apparently, they have new neighbor dogs, and one of the one WHO shall remain nameless has major issues with territory boundaries and trash barking. The things that dog was saying got all us wieners all riled up. I am a pretty mellow girl, but no newbie on the block of my wiener friends is going to come in barking at us like that. A wiener can only take so much you know. So I barked my mind at her and tried to teach her a little manors. Frito and me ran the fence border barking and setting her straight on a few issues and neighborhood rules.

After the visit, mommy scolded me in the car for carrying on so much. I just wished humans could understand dogs. She would have been over there with me if she only knew what she was saying. For the record, I wasn't the rude one.

We came back home, and mommy was helping move things into the new shed. You know the one that replaced my beloved sandbox. Well, I started to dig in the gravel by the new shed where my sandbox use to be by the way, and boy did I get scolded by grandma and grandpa. Mommy stuck up for me and said that I was digging where I was taught to dig, and that doxies have to dig. Don't think it got very far with the grandparents. I gave up digging for some zoomies around the yard with Charlie, and then we both took a nap in the big swing outside.

It was a great day to be a wiener dog. Even if I was fussed at a lot today. I am so over that. heehee

Play date at Frito's house!.

Sasha here,

I had a play date at Frito's house and a trip to the post office today. Frito is one of my dachshund neighbor's and he has three doxie siblings (Zuke, Peewee (is Frito's bio mom actually), and Gypsy) so I really get to bond with my fellow wiener dogs while I am there. There was the minor issue of a pee spot on the carpet, but I ain't confessing. I just ran when the carpet cleaner comes out just in case I get blamed. Our Mommies didn't see who did it. And, mommy told me it better not have been me on the way back home. She felt bad that it happened already, and if it was me than she would be very embarrassed. Well, the morning play date continued with zoomies, and pets, and sunning time by the big window, and nap time in mommy's lap. Oh, it was a great morning. Now, these are the days we wiener dogs live for. Thank you Miss Suz and the red wagon wieners for such a great play date. I am including pics of my visit. Off to rest up from my busy day. Sasha.

RED WAGON WIENERS make it to etsy!

Sasha here,

My play date pals have made it to ETSY! Woohoo! Mommy was helping their mommy out today, and trying to make her shop banner and all. It was so exciting to find out that my doxie play date pals mommy will be on etsy, too. I go over to their house and zoomie with Frito a lot. There is the Zuke or the Zukester, Peewee (She has issues with me.), and sweet old Gypsy, too. Miss Suz is very handy with the clay. She has made mommy a couple ornaments and a special valentine's swing last year for my best doxie guy Oscar and his Mommy. I know you all will love her clay doxie sculptures. I posted a couple of her doxie sculptures for you to preview. So give this newbie to etsy some love and visit her shop at RedWagonWieners.etsy.com.

Other than that not much going on here. I had some fun wrestling with my big brother Charlie and getting tummy rubs from Mommy. Oh, the doggy life I lead. Well, hopes to bark at you all soon. Your friendly dachshund, Sasha.
