Easter Egg Hunt Doggy Style!

Sasha here wishing all you humans and furkids a Happy Easter! The Easter Bunny had a tight budget this year so no new toys, but I got to have my very first egg hunt. Mommy told the Easter Bunny that I was old enough to handle it now without eating the plastic eggs. So Charlie and I had our hunt on the back deck since it was raining. I have video of that down below. It was a blast sniffing out those kibble filled eggs. I also had a bite of boiled egg. Never had that before and it was really good.

Mommy Treasury champ and a trip to PO.

You furry friend Sasha here as always. Mommy is the treasury champ. She had one made and ready to go, but then she realized both treasury main and treasury west were opening within a few minutes of each other. Somehow mommy managed to nab both in just a few minutes time and got them up and ready for viewing at the same time. I just don't have the quick paws like mommy I guess. The first one we created in honor of those hard working barkers (um chatters in human words) in the chat rooms all the time. This is the main treasury one called Fun In Chat. It is items from some of the chat regulars that chat with mommy a lot. The second one Mommy let me have a say on since we had to make it arfully quick. I call it Raining Cats and Dogs because the weather has been so wet lately. So it proves us wiener dogs can think fast on our paws. I hope you enjoy them.

We got to go to the post office today. We had someone bid on e-bay on some Easter baskets that mommy had and wasn't using anymore. So I got a car ride. It was pretty exciting cause we went right when a human pups school was letting out so lots of stopping and going and looking at the human pups walking home. Then, we got to the post office and the guy at the post office gave mommy a free roll of tape for when she ships priority packages. I got to guard the tape on the way home. I was so proud of my guard dog responsibilities. I almost didn't even notice the rollerbladers crossing the street when Mommy slammed on the brakes. Lesson for today, tape protection can be a very dangerous job for a doxie. Mommy made sure I was OK and the boys were a safe distance away, before continuing on, but I think she was pretty upset that she could have hit them. We were almost home, and there was the big huge neighborhood orange cat that likes to tease Charlie and me. It was all bent over, and then pounced at something in the field. When it came up there was something furry in its mouth. The stinky cat is a better hunter than me. Not fair!

Well, to end with tonight I have the picture of me posing at what I looked like when Mommy slammed on the brakes. Good thing I was attached to the seat. I am sure more adventures wait with future car rides. Take care all.

Dachshund Team new member and my poor tail.

Hi all,

It has been an interesting day today. We got another new dachshund team member. Yip Yap Furray! Jessica does the cutest cartoon doxies, and she draws way better than my mommy. Check out her store at chloejessica. She is really new to etsy too, and her shop cold really use some views. So please give her a click or two for me please with kibble on top.

Second, Mommy got two treasuries. One in treasury west which is all about what kissing leads to. And yes, us wiener dogs are in it, too. It is called Kissing. The main treasury mommy just got after waiting all afternoon. Two hours is a lot longer than they say on etsy. It is Doxie Arfist Unleashed. And all about us. So you have to peek at that one. Must see for doxie lovers like yourself.

Third, my precious tail got stepped on by grandpa today. Those big human feet with shoes hurt so bad. I yipped and yapped and yowled. Grandpa petted me and said he was sorry, but it still hurt. The next time he went walking by I hid behind Mommy's legs and quick. So folks watch out for use little short long ones down here, please. My tail is OK now, but I am not going to forget that anytime soon.

Treasuries and doggy thoughts

Not much happening lately. Mommy spent most of the day getting two treasuries. Main treasury called So Long, and it is about us long ones of course. The next one is Furry Little Monsters in Treasury West. There are dachshunds in that one, too. And some cute little monsters.

OK. Here is my thoughts for today. One why is it whenever anything goes missing they blame the dachshund? Mommy lost a sock from the dryer. You know there is a monster in the dryer that chews them up, and spits them out a few days later just so us cute little furbabies get blamed. Just because the sock was under the couch when mommy went to retrieve my ball doesn't mean that I put it there. Right? Two, why do humans get good smelling food like steak when we get same old boring kibble every day? Mommy and grandma had steak today, and it smelt so good. When I came over to investigate I got the go lay down from both of them. It is just not fair. We doggies get tired of kibble you know. Imagine having cereal without milk everyday for the rest of your lives. It is just horrible. Well, take care folks, and give those poor doggies a break every once and awhile.

Dachshund Team chat today!

Sasha here. We are having our first Etsy Dachshund Team chat at 4:oo pacific time and 7 pm eastern time. I am so excited. I wonder if other wiener dogs will be in attendance. I sure hope my prince Oscar makes it. Mommy says the humans have a lot to talk about so us doxies might not get much chatting done, but we can hope can't we.

Mommy also got two treasuries one in main treasury and one in treasury west last night. The treasury west opened first so we made that the wiener dog one this time called Love Ya Longer! The main treasury opened about 45 minutes after that one and so mommy did a doggy themed one called I Woof You! We could use clicks and views on both, but we know that the chances are slim to none on getting on the front page. I personally don't get how bunnies and squirrels have more PR agents than us cute little wiener dogs. Oh, well. we know the artists in the treasuries would love some views.

I am posting more cute pics of me in the sunshine. Mommy thinks that I am such a diva, but really when you got the cuteness you have to flaunt it. heehee

OK, Sasha here. I chased pesty squirrels, had a barkversation with the neighbor dog for 15 minutes, knocked over trash can (and got caught), pouted for an hour after being fussed at, and then tore up toilet tissue. All in all, it was a pretty good day.

Mommy got two treasuries. One in the main treasury that is the bestest yet, Wieners and Buns. The other one was in treasury west, Extreme Obsession. She is working on some paw print mini bookmarks or gift tags with old business cards and wallpaper samples. They are turning out cute. Sales in our etsy store are slow, and we are still trying to organize a dachshund team chat. It is just hard to get everyone together at the same time. Oh, well, a doxie can only do her best.

Now, another human question to ponder. Why do humans always change their fur so much? They have fur to sleep in, fur for winter, fur for going out of the house to eat (yes we know where you have been), fur for a place called church, and even swimming fur. Then, they take all that fur off and get wet in that inside rain thingy. I just don't get them at all.
