I WON! I REALLY WON!

YIP YAP FURRAY! I won the photo contest that I was in and it is all thanks to you who voted for me. I am so excited. I did many many zoomies around the house and yard. I barked at the neighbor dog and told him all about it. I even thanked the squirrels who are sorry that the contest is over, but anyways that a little secret between them and me.

I can't wait to see what prezzies and treats I get in my prize box, and I will "fur sure" share pics with you all when I get it. Thank you all again. I just can't believe I won. Yeah! Lots of doxie kisses to you all. Sasha.

Mommy gave me a bath today.:(

Mommy gave me a bath today. I thought for sure she had forgotten all about that nasty b-word. Then, today, I followed her into the bathroom like I always do. She takes off my collar. No big deal. I thought ok were is the camera for my photo shoot. Then, I saw the doggy shampoo bottle. You know whoever thought puke green shampoo with the nasty medicated smell should have a happy dog on the bottle is just one sick puppy. Mommy got into the shower, and she called me. I knew what I was in for, but I came reluctantly. I waited shaking knowing the dreaded water was getting warmed up for me. I stood there bravely as she sprayed me with the evil shower spray hose thingy. I stayed still when she put the stinky green yucky smelling shampoo all in my fur. Then, when she was reaching for the hose again. I shook it all over. Fur and foam went everywhere. I got my revenge, and then I got drenched with the hose thingy again. All I can say to this torture is "Doxies don't get mad, we get even!". I gave mommy the pout face all night. If I think she has learned her lesson by bed time, I might snuggle with her then.

Oh, and on a side note. Thanks to all my voters for me in the photo contest. I am in first place barely. Keep the votes coming in with a unique name signature so they don't get deleted. I just might win this thing this time with all your help. I got my paws crossed. Doxie kisses to you all.

Naked Puppy Pic In Photo Contest!

Sasha here. It is that time of month again and yes I am entered once again in the petsjubilee team pet photo contest to win that yummy box of treats and prezzies that I dream to have. Wiener dogs never give up you know.

This time mommy had me worried for awhile cause she said she was going to post one of my naked puppy pics for the contest. I am lucky she picked a cute one and not one with my head stuck in a rice cake bag or bath time in the kitchen sink or anything embarrassing like that.

Well, been coming off the campaign trail highs and the low of not winning. Those yummy treats have escaped my paws yet again. Well, we did try our best I guess.

It has been busy around here. I have yard privileges again as long as I don't potty on it. Which is really hard for a doxie not to do, but I have made it to the potty path so far each time.

I am tired, mommy is tired, so I will post sad me pic, and my two liter bottle wrestling video than head off for a nap.

Day two and wiener still in the lead!

Yip Yap Furray! Thanks to all my etsy, blogger, e-mail, and facebook friends for voting. I was in first place again today in the petsjubilee team pet photo contest. It was close. I had a couple chihuahuas barking at my tail and pull a head a couple times, but at the end of today the wiener dog was in the lead. We still have voting until the 30th at noon so please if you haven't voted. Please, vote for me. I know been naughty little dachshund for not writing in awhile. Been busy promoting the photo contest on petsjubilee. Grass Update: Still not allowed on it. I have been looking out the window pathetically for weeks now, and to aggravate me even further. Grandma and Mommy fill this bird all you can eat seed buffet bin out there, and all the birds in the neighborhood are hanging out in MY BACKYARD! A doxie can get her fur rubbed the wrong way with this kind of treatment.

Mommy has been working on new cards for the store, and I thought I would post a few pics of them. They are pretty cute. Especially, when they star cute little old me. The store has been slow these days. I thinks it is all the good weather. People are outside and not next to their computers all day. Well, I might have to teach these birds to drop flyers of our store down on all these people outside instead of pooing on everything. Mommy doesn't think I will have much luck at that, but I am smarter than your average doxie you know.

Hot dog it is hot!

Hi all,

Sasha here as usual. It has been so hot here lately that I can truly say I am a hot dog! Mommy takes me to the potty path around noon and I can swear I smell my fur burning. Luckily it is a quick pee, and back in to lay on the linoleum floor with all four feet in the air under the fan.
So off to whats new. The new grass they sprayed on is still putting a delay on yard zoomies, but in this heat we have been keeping the zoomies till evening time when the cooler temperatures hit.

The petsjubilee team pet photo contest ended, and Daisy the red wiener dog won. Yip Yap Furray! Here is a link to see the photo that won. Starting next month, team members get to enter the photo contest. I have been browsing through all my photos and it was so hard to pic the cutest one. But, I think I have narrowed it down now.
Also, today, I was sitting on mommy's lap at the computer and a giant spider went crawling fast across the desk. I leaped at it, and mommy caught her glass just before it spilled lemon aid on the keyboard. Then, she squished the spider. I hate when I don't get to get the thrill of the kill. My hunting genes you know just have to chase, capture, and eliminate potential vermin.
We did a car wash on mommy's car today and it was done the old fashioned way where Mommy gets all wet and soapy and the car gets some how clean in the process. Not sure I get the whole situation at all, but as long as I didn't get wet and soapy I was fine just supervising.

Been enjoying the warm weather.

Sorry I haven't been on folks. This little wiener dog has been really enjoying the warm weather. I find a nice sunny patch on the back deck and lay soaking up the rays for hours. My black fur is even got some brown highlights from all the sun. The grass is coming in, but there were a few bare spots so Grandma had them come out to reseed the spots. So that means more time without grass. I am getting use to the potty path, and find the rocks very warm first thing in the morning which is quite nice in the cool morning air.

The petsjubilee team photo contest is almost over for this month. A wiener dog is in the lead so far. I can't wait to see who wins. Next month team members get to summit pictures, and I am having such a hard time choosing which picture to send in. You know when you are cute and your mommy takes a zillion pictures of you it is so hard. Well, I am sure I will pick a good one. Hi all,

Yes, your cute little wiener dog friend here. Mommy and I have been very busy lately so I haven't got much computer time. Oh, well. She keeps telling me I need to get more outside time in the good weather so I am trying to figure out how to hook the computer up on the deck, but Mommy says no to that.

Well, the grass is growing in nicely now. It really looks and smells like grass, but Grandma says it is still too tender to zoomie on so Charlie and I still have the "Pee gravel" potty grounds and being confined to the back deck.

The approach of the good weather has triggered major cleaning frenzy here, and well I just don't understand it. The humans call it spring cleaning and they keep saying that Charlie and I are on the list of things that need to be cleaned, too. I suspect that means the evil B-word. But, I won't know until it comes I suppose.

Mommy was human pup sitting again, and they were playing beauty shop, and Grandma painted my nails purple. Not sure how I feel about them yet. I will post new pics of me and my purple nails. (Hard to see in the picture though.)

Pet Photo Contest and I gets in Big Trouble!

Hi all Sasha the cute and long little dachshund here. I just couldn't wait any longer to tell you all about the petsjubilee pet photo contest. Mommy and me are team members so we can't vote or be in it this go around, but there is already like ten cute and furry contestants. We need more. If you have an etsy account, then go petsjubilee blog for more details and to see the furbabies in the contest. (If you don't have an etsy account and want to sign up with etsy go to Etsy.com and sign up). Mommy and I came up with this idea, and we hopes to see lots of cute critter friends in the contest. OK, now to the me getting in big trouble thing. Mommy and the grandparents took away my backyard and sprayed all this green foamy grass stuff on it. Well, mommy said no yard zoomies or pottying till the grass grows in and that could be weeks. Mommy thought she would get me to potty while walking on a leash in this rocky area, and I was saying no way to that. First of all the leash is for walks and car rides not for potty trips. It spoils the whole excitement of seeing the leash. Second, I am low to the ground pottying on rocks is like you guys wiping your bums with sandpaper. It ain't fun at all. So I staged a no pottying protest. And well, at some point you just can't hold it any longer, and well. You guesses it. I peed on the hallway carpet. I was grounded from the computer and given a big time out. After mommy was done being upset, we had a chat, and we came up with a compromise. She fixed an area on the side of the house with a baby gate attached to the fence so that I could have off leash potty time. It still has to be on rocks, but I gave up the comfort to have a little freedom. Well, off to look out the window and watch the grass grow. Paws crossed for magic grass seeds that grow very quickly.
